Valentine's Day

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day (or Singles Awareness Day if you're single). I had a wonderful time, and also just found out very good news. My internship in Hong Kong was accepted, so I will be leaving for Hong Kong in a few weeks and stay for a month. I will also be heading to NYC next weekend to hang out with my friends as well, so I have some busy times ahead!

In the day time I had an appointment to go shopping for OBEY Clothing's Spring '13 line at their warehouse. It has its perk being a former intern at times ;) At night, Tony and I had dinner reservations (of course) and decided to eat at The Globe in Garden Grove. It's a Belgian restaurant that has a regular menu and a monthly menu depending on what country they want to create a special menu on.

I'm very happy with the way my look turned out overall! I just wanted some natural looking waves for my hair, and I think I succeeded with that.

Circle lens review: EOS New Adult Brown

I made an order recently with Eyecandys.com for some more "natural"-esque everyday lenses, since I have an opportunity to do an internship in Hong Kong very soon. I'm finding out this week whether I'm going or not, so I'm crossing my fingers!

A few OOTD from the past few weeks

Hey everyone! Sorry for being MIA the past few weeks, I've had finals that I had to concentrate on. I can also officially say that I have finished taking tests for the rest of my undergrad career, and next semester all I will be doing is a consulting project! It's kinda weird that school has pretty much officially ended for me, but at the same time it's exciting to find out what will be out there for me.

Irvine Global Village Festival, 9/29

Last weekend was the Irvine Global Village Festival, which happens once a year where I live! It is set up to bring many cultures together to celebrate it all in one place. To be quite honest, Tony and I just went for food!

OC BBQ Bonanza 8/18

Today is my first day of school, so I wanted to get posts out of the way in the case my semester gets busy!

I talked about my weight loss in a previous entry, so even though I am eating healthier now I will have the occasional pig-out day! This is totally healthy as long as you make it up in workouts, which I did the next day :) Balance is the key. Anyways...

I haven't eaten American-styled BBQ since before my surgery, so my boyfriend and I decided to go to the OC BBQ Bonanza in Fountain Valley, CA. The entrance was free but parking was $5, so we decided to be cheap and park in a neighborhood near the park and walk to the event LOL That was fine anyways because we knew we'd have to walk off the food we ate later on.

My weekend outings~

This weekend I went out to a few malls to work on some projects for my Fashion class this semester. I thought I would share my personal photos from over the weekend! Although not of anything from my projects since that's secret, but maybe in the future I'll share them ;)

Since I have had to buy a completely new wardrobe since my surgery, I have decided to start dressing more like the style seen in Happie Nuts along with retaining the VANQUISH style I've been following for about a year. I absolutely adore Nicole Abe since I first saw her in Ranzuki, so I'm continuing to follow her now! Hope you all will see the inspiration in my outfits from now on.

7/7:
Tony and I were originally planning on going to a new market out in LA but we decided not to. However, he had the idea of going to Fashion Island in Newport Beach, CA instead since it's local and they have great people and dog watching there!

Some random June LOTDs

It's already July, and now I have to try to play the catch up game with some outfits and makeup shots when I remembered to do them back in June. The pictures with the mirror were taken at school, some of them might be more simple since it's everyday. I love how the restrooms at my school have full length mirrors, which naturally fits because it's the Fashion and Business building!

LOTD 6/2/12

So I've been pretty depressed about my diagnosis of Achalasia recently and waiting for Monday to roll around so I can find out if I'm going to have surgery this upcoming week or not. If I don't have the surgery this week then I will have to wait until August since my schedule is very tight.

However, I got a package from Yumetenbo (DreamV) today that cheered me up! I'm very pleased with the quality of the items that came today, and decided to wear some of the items I received out to the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. The clothes I got fit well since I've dropped a lot of weight so it gave me some confidence :)

The last day of ElecTRONica at Disney California Adventure 4/15

I decided to venture to DCA for ElecTRONica's last night with some friends :) I made a post about ElecTRONica near the time I started blogging, which you can view if you want!

I didn't get too many pictures since it was super crowded, but I did get some.

Easter LOTD

Hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend! I was fortunate enough to have 5 days off of school for Easter vacation, so I have had some time to take pictures and blog a bit. I was testing new makeup products while doing my makeup today, so look for reviews on some of the items soon :D I also decided to change up my outfit and totally do something out of the ordinary for myself~

I go to Las Vegas a lot, mainly to visit my friend Jim, who some of you might recognize from the circle lens review for EOS Adult Grey. We did some secret stuff that won't be announced for a bit, but we also got to have some fun as well! I haven't been to Las Vegas during NYE since I've turned 21, so now I can do everything without restrictions! This post will definitely be photo heavy.

22nd birthday~

It was my 22nd birthday on the 14th, where I celebrated my birthday at Memphis Cafe! I got my hair done earlier that day after school so I could look my best☆

I made a post last month about going to a gathering at Arcade Infinity in Rowland Heights, CA because it was supposed to be its last day of operation. It was saved for a little bit, but due to some issues with the city they're forced to shut down its doors tomorrow (2/27). I went for one last time with my friends, it didn't really hit me that it's really going away though. I've been going there pretty much since it opened 10 years ago, so it's really sad to see it go!

I also went to Beauty Corner for the first time. They have a lot of nice Japanese cosmetics (like KATE, Dolly Wink, Melliesh, etc) but it was even more overpriced than Mitsuwa and Marukai!! Sad face :( But I got one of the Dolly Wink eyeshadow palettes and those scary collagen face masks since they're the same price as the other markets. I only really went to grab the Dolly Wink catalogs but didn't want to leave empty handed ^^;;

My makeup and hair for the day! I did it really similar to yesterday's makeup when I first tried on the Chocolate lenses, except changed my top lashes to Diamond Lash Glamorous eye. I also used Redken's Full Frame 07 Protecting Volumizing Mousse for the first time. My hair looks really healthy after using it and my friends gave me compliments so I will definitely be using this normally now! It also did something that most volumizing products don't do for me: actually add volume to my hair :P

A closeup on my eye makeup. I found out that SMH's Sex Kitten makes a very nice highlighter, which I use under my eyebrow! I thought it was going to go on opaque and pink like most of their shadows but it just adds a bit of twinkle :D

Since my bathroom lighting tends to wash out my makeup on camera, I decided to take a webcam picture showing that I really am wearing a lot of makeup :P

Agejo Valentine's day

Tony and I wanted to have a nice Valentine's day, but the day already didn't start off so well because the present I bought for him didn't come... and won't come for ANOTHER WEEK!! Capcom Store, you really screwed us over :( I bought Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for him and it was "99% guaranteed to come before release day", which was yesterday. My order was "shipped" on Friday and it took 4 days for it to travel from MN to IN... which is backtracking because it needs to be in CA! My tracking status still hasn't been updated for it either so I'm not optimistic about getting it any time soon for something that was shipped US Economy Post. :/

lol to make it not any better I got sick over the weekend and am still feeling it. I hate having to miss classes and I've had to do that twice this week already.

But enough rant, I'll get to what Tony and I did! He made reservations for us (2 months in advance) at Blue Bayou, which is a restaurant at the Disneyland Park that is inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

AI Gathering

One of the local Southern California arcades, Arcade Infinity, was originally going to have its last operational day tonight but the plaza decided to save them due to the overwhelming response online from the gaming community. As a local who has been going to the arcade since it opened, I went to see faces I hadn't seen in awhile but also just to hang out with everyone.

Another plus was I received new contacts today from Pinky Paradise, Barbie King Size Pink and Barbie Gossip Grey. I'm not sponsored by them at all and just bought them with my own money~

I have been very bad about not taking outfit pictures the last month or so, especially since I had some really nice coordinates... one of the ones not included was featuring my Delyle Snoopy print dress T_T

Also a big shout out to Diamond for hosting the event at Royal T last night :D I was great meeting newer members of Diamond (since I've known Val and Michi for awhile) and especially meeting Dolly and Mei <3 They both have amazing style and are sweet girls who I hope to see around :D
