Recovery - OBEY Sample Sale this weekend!

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to let all of you know that my surgery for Achalasia was performed last Thursday (6/7/12). My problem was slightly worse than what was predicted by the doctors originally, but luckily they could still fix it while they were operating on me. Because of this though, I had to stay another day and I returned home on Saturday afternoon and have been at home recovering since then. I am back to eating liquid foods and will be able to return to eating normal food in about 1-1.5 months! I am really happy about my progression so far, I went from being able to barely walk in the hospital to being able to walk around my neighborhood and feel fine.

I am really happy about how I have been able to recover, and I have two reasons for that. The first reason is that summer school starts next Monday, and if I didn't have the surgery at that time I wouldn't be able to go. That would've not only devastated me but also would've made me one super bored girl at home!

The second reason... working the bi-annual OBEY Clothing Sample Sale! I'm always very happy to work these sales, and now even more so since it's only been a month since I've left my OBEY internship. I'll be posting info and flyers below, so feel free to come! I have sample prices but I cannot confirm that these will be the same prices that will be at the sale since they tend to fluctuate at times.

Some general updates!

Hey everyone, finals is this upcoming week so soon I'll be free to post more! Just wanted to post about a few things going on in my blog.

Not a real post, but I just wanted to say a very sincere thank you to my followers! When I first started I was excited just to have a few followers, but now that it's over 400 followers it's hard to believe.

Long time no post! AX ParaPara Panel recap☆

Sorry for the lack of posts, I wanted to entertain Jim (who did the male circle lens review below) while he was here so I didn't want to spend too much time blogging!

A couple of notes:
- My summer giveaway ended on 6/30 with the winner being Wen, so congrats to her! The next giveaway will be coming up around October/November. :) I have one of the prizes already and it is different than the usual prizes~

- I would love to do a FAQ post in the future, so if you want to ask me questions please drop them off at my formspring page. Feel free to send them anonymously if you don't want your name on here. :)

- ParaPara fans, the Disco NRG site will be up and running soon! We are moving hosts and are currently setting it up right now. Keep up to date with us by checking our Twitter and Facebook pages.

- I will be heading to NYC from 7/29-8/4. I go every year so it's no different, mainly to film an upcoming Disco NRG DVD! If anyone wants to meet up I will try to see if I can make time for it. Or if anyone wants to give me some store recommendations please do so as well!

ParaPara Dancing 101 Panel Recap:
For anyone that came to my panel, thank you very much for coming! I know a couple of girls came up to me after the panel saying they knew me from everyday_gyaru and my blog but don't comment... so get to it! lol

Finals are this week and I have been very busy working on final papers and studying for my tests. I really hate ignoring my blog since I love writing on here, plus on top of that I've been awful on taking outfit photos :(

Another quick check-in!

This project is kicking my butt but I thought I would make another quick stop by in my blog! I like posting daily but hard now with deadlines :'(

After Friday I'll be off for the week and going up to NorCal for my 2nd anniversary vacation with Tony! I'm excited since I haven't been to SF in so long and need to go to Japantown and Daiso! I'll be staying in Monterey Bay though because I want to go to the aquarium and it's a shorter drive back home for us ^^;;

Since I'm almost already at 50 subscribers, I had to decide what was going to be the prizes for 50 and 75 already! A quick update and check in!

As you guys will see in the next few days I'm just going to make small updates around the blog layout here and there. I have a really huge project due on Friday, so I'm going to be working mostly on that throughout the week.

I've been getting a big influx of followers in the last few days, probably because I was featured in Hana of Finding Tokyo's weekly wrap up? Many thanks to her for featuring me, and all the new followers I've gained from it!

I purchased two different brands of BB cream online (Korea's Missha and Japan's Nanoce), because a few people have had concerns about my skin. Thanks to those who did have concerns, and I hope that changing to BB cream will be beneficially for me! It did come at a good time too, I'm almost out of both of my foundations! I'll try to do reviews once they both arrive (for the Nanoce I have to pick it up in store since it's in Southern California) :]

Also just another little blurb about how I will do giveaways at 50, 75 and 100 followers! Remember how I said the prizes will start getting bigger? They are looking pretty nice so feel free to follow me and join in on the giveaways :D
