Haultastic day along with getting my hair done!

I was long overdue for a hair color and cut, so I booked an appointment today with my beloved Jennifer at Ulta in Tustin, CA! But I started and ended the day with some lovely hauls from mukuCHU, Ulta, MAC and Urban Decay.

First thing this morning was the package of circle lenses I ordered from mukuCHU! I ordered these back in November and got my toric lenses for my astigmatism since I know my current pairs are due to expire anytime soon.

The designs that I got! I got toric lenses in E-301 3 Tone Grey, Adult Grey (my everyday lenses) and normal lenses in Max Pure Brown. I plan to use the latter for a Sayaka Araki tutorial I want to do in the future!

So like I said, I was way overdue to get my color, I haven't gotten my hair done since my birthday back in September! So I got my annual haircut and a redo of my color done today.
The results! As usual I love my color, which I've been keeping since September 2008. I really love how it looks :D ♥

So while I was at Ulta, I decided to get some items since I was there and had a coupon for double points!
NYX was buy one get one 50% off, so I grabbed another NYX Slide on pencil (which has become my new favorite eyeliner) with some blotting paper since I always keep some everywhere with me, a Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor in Follow Me on Glitter and Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait.

After finishing up at Ulta I decided to head to South Coast Plaza to go to MAC, since I had a gift certificate and they had a couple of new collections come out as well!
I got the Mineralize Blush in Early Morning, and 2 Lipglasses. I wanted to get the Flamingo Lipstick from the Iris Apfel collection, but they were sold out :(
The 2 shades of Lipglass that I got! You can find swatches for them on Temptalia :)

I went to Macy's MAC counter after the MAC Pro store to try to find the lipstick that was sold out, but I found the Iris Apfel collection is a MAC store exclusive collection :( But I wandered around and found the Urban Decay "The Revolution" eyelash curler that is impossible to find!
It's open on both sides, meaning that it's wonderful for curling fake eyelashes with! I'm very excited to try them on fake lashes that I think aren't quite curled enough :)

  1. Great haul! I loved my max pure browns but sadly they expired. They are super natural, I'm sure you'll adore them also :) Can't wait for the reviews!

  3. I have a question since you are a toric lens wearer as well!

When you first started wearing the circle lens torics, did you have an issue with the feel of them? I'm not sure what is supposed to feel normal with circle lenses, lol! I have EOS ones as well :)

Thanks! I'm so excited to try the Max Pure Browns, I've been eying them since last spring but had to wait until now because I still have a lot of different pairs!

Thanks! You should dye your hair again, but make sure you have the commitment to maintaining it! :)

Yeah the EOS toric lenses are a bit harder than my normal toric lenses (Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism), but I actually found it easier to put in since they don't stick on my finger like normal soft lenses. I did have to get used to how they feel though, since you can feel that they are in! Other circle lenses sometimes I forget they're in LOL

  5. I use Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism as well (for my normal lenses) so, I am glad you know what I mean, lol!

I do also find them easier to put them in as well but, I will probably have to do as you say and just get use to them. I thought they were a lot harder as well. Thank you for answering :)

    1. These Acuvue Oasys are also highly permeable, which is absolutely vital for any extended wear eye contacts.
