Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong

I wanted to make a post about the mall that's walking distance from my apartment: Festival Walk! It's a major mall featuring many Western stores and a large food court. It's also across the street from a university, so you'll see a lot of overseas students shopping and eating there. My favorite part of being here in Hong Kong is that you can speak English almost everywhere you go!

I first had to get lunch, because I was starving! I chose Cafe de Coral, because they had one of my most favorite foods in the world!
The Baked Pork Chop with Rice that I ordered. It was delicious, except I miss the cheese that they put on top of it in the US!

Here's some shop photos from around the mall:

moussy, the gyaru brand! I'll talk more about it in a future post.

I love that here in Hong Kong they have storefronts for the luxury makeup brands. It's nice to be able to go to a specific store instead of just the counters.

Watsons is a drugstore I've read about in blogs of Asian bloggers, so I was happy to finally get to one LOL Half of the store is just beauty alone *_*

The section for L'Oreal makeup. They have a lot of similar products we have in the US, except they have different names. They've also got some more products we don't have, mainly base makeup.

The other beauty brands there: Maybelline, Majolica Majorca, Revlon, Max Factor, and KATE.

They have Dove deodorant here, my favorite brand! The roll-ons with the same scents as my favorite sticks are actually cheaper here than in the US. I was curious about the whitening one since the US version of it didn't work for me. We'll see how it works in the next few weeks!

I feel so business-y having to carry two ones with me! I am using my BlackBerry from home and got this Nokia for local calls.

Now for the get's that I got! I went to another area today for some shopping, but I'll talk about it in a different post. I'm buying small since I'm here for an entire month, however you also have to pay extra for plastic bags at supermarkets and some other stores ...
The bags you see are from MAC, moussy, and MURUA (they share the same bags as EMODA).

I got Jewerich No. 2 from Sasa, MAC Mineralize Rich Lipsticks in Ultraprecious, Red Coquette, and Smart & Sweet (Asia exclusive shades), Dove Whitening Deodorant and a Pore minimizing powder from Majolica Majorca at Watsons.

The tank top is from moussy and the shirt is from MURUA. HEAVEN and Earth had the most beautiful cutsew I've seen, but I wasn't willing to pay US$125 for it D:

Hope you guys enjoyed seeing a little bit into my life here in Hong Kong. There will definitely be more posts to come :D

  2. I really like your lipstick and OOTD~ Woah, the variety of stores at the mall is awesome! I've always wanted to go to a watson's, but of course I haven't been able to access one at all. I like that designer makeup brands have store fronts as well. That's nice!

    1. Thank you! The lipstick is really awesome, super smooth, hydrating and leaves a slight stain so you don't have to worry too much about reapplying it.

I love all of the malls and makeup stores here! It's definitely heaven for me LOL
