IMATS 2013 Event Report & Gets

It wasn't too long ago since the last IMATS, but they made it earlier starting with this year so I went again! I got my ticket a month in advance, but didn't have quite as pleasant of a time as last years event. I felt that too many people were let in and because they switched the dates there were many vendors that usually attend but didn't, like NYX Cosmetics. I shouldn't complain too much though, because I got there early enough to get to almost all of the vendors I wanted to buy from and got out of there within 3 hours!

 I didn't get too many pictures since I was very tired and it was crowded, but here's some shots!

Lime Crime's booth! It got fairly crowded as well and got intercepted by another line. Not sure what booth it was for.

As the day went on, the line for MAC Cosmetics went out the door of the entrance!

Crazy mobs, I think they were in line for Sigma Brushes? You can see Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics and Sugarpill in this photo. I wanted to go to OCC really bad for some Lip Tars, but the line was obnoxiously long for their small booth! At the last IMATS I went to, I just walked up to the booth and got the Lip Tars I wanted. I think due to them being sold at Sephora now is why there were so many people.

I got to meet Michelle Visage, who's a singer and a judge on RuPaul's Drag Race! She was incredibly sweet and super fierce in person. Her daughter was a big fan of Pokemon so we talked briefly about it as well. Her family is so cute!

Found Doe Deere of Lime Crime when I was walking back to my car! I met her at the last IMATS so I decided not to stay for the meet & greet this time around.

I saved up quite a bit, and managed to stay within my budget! I'm not completely poor so I'm very happy!

Here's a photo of my travel brushes from bdellium tools! I got tired of lugging all of my full sized MAC brushes with me whenever I went out of town, so I wanted to get a travel set. I decided on bdellium tools because I love their brush styles and the quality is amazing for the price. I spent under $80 for all of them.
