Just a reminder to my readers and anyone who comes across this that both of my giveaways end TOMORROW AT 5PM PST! If you haven't entered already please feel free to, and remember that posting about my giveaways will give you an extra entry to win!
And since I shouldn't be only throwing giveaways, here's a few that I'm entering that look pretty sweet!
Mitsu from Universal Doll is having her "Mitsu's Favorite Things Giveaway" going on right now with the only announced prizes as Diamond Lash in Celeb eye and an Alpaca plushie with more to be revealed in the future! If you're a reader of my blog, you know that I love the Celeb eye and did a review for them and also wore them in my profile picture! To enter click on the photo from her giveaway to get to the entry! I also credit Mitsu for giving me the inspiration to get into blogging :D
Hana from Finding Tokyo has her "New Year Giveaway" going on right now with a lot of secrets going on! I love Rilakkuma and new makeup so it should be good! Also a big thanks to Hana again for featuring my "Recession proof makeup" article on one of her recent weekly wrap ups, helping it to become the most popular article on my blog so far!
Also I guess it doesn't hurt to do a photo dump things from this month~

2 outfits and makeup changes
I hope everyone in the US had a fabulous Thanksgiving and Black Friday! I did and didn't at the same time, mostly because the screen on my phone is totally cracked. It still works but it's a sad thing to see :(
But anyways, here's some photos~

Eyelash review: Loujene Glamorous Full S #2/LJ つけまつげN02 グラマラス フルS
I'm going to review the Glamorous Full S #2 from Loujene's line of affordable cosmetics. Retails for 105yen in Japan and $1.50 at Ichibankan stores in California. I'm not sure where else their products are sold at, but if you've seen them please let me know! :) If you're interested in them you can purchase them on the company's Rakuten store here, but you need to use a shopping service for them. Most of their lashes are very gyaru-kei along with some of their other makeup products!

Recent outfits
I haven't made a post about me in awhile, especially because during my trip to Monterey the internet was very inconsistent :( So I guess here's 2 outfits and a few other things~

Another quick check-in!
This project is kicking my butt but I thought I would make another quick stop by in my blog! I like posting daily but hard now with deadlines :'(
After Friday I'll be off for the week and going up to NorCal for my 2nd anniversary vacation with Tony! I'm excited since I haven't been to SF in so long and need to go to Japantown and Daiso! I'll be staying in Monterey Bay though because I want to go to the aquarium and it's a shorter drive back home for us ^^;;
Since I'm almost already at 50 subscribers, I had to decide what was going to be the prizes for 50 and 75 already! To entice people on what's going to be in the next one to subscribe so I can start the giveaway, I'll tell you guys what the main prize in it is (there's also a few other small things in it):
A SAMPLER PACK OF 6 TYPES OF DIAMOND LASHES, INCLUDING 2 FROM THE NEW SERIES!
So what are you waiting for? Tell your friends about this cool prize and that they need to subscribe! :D

A quick update and check in!
As you guys will see in the next few days I'm just going to make small updates around the blog layout here and there. I have a really huge project due on Friday, so I'm going to be working mostly on that throughout the week.
I've been getting a big influx of followers in the last few days, probably because I was featured in Hana of Finding Tokyo's weekly wrap up? Many thanks to her for featuring me, and all the new followers I've gained from it!
I purchased two different brands of BB cream online (Korea's Missha and Japan's Nanoce), because a few people have had concerns about my skin. Thanks to those who did have concerns, and I hope that changing to BB cream will be beneficially for me! It did come at a good time too, I'm almost out of both of my foundations! I'll try to do reviews once they both arrive (for the Nanoce I have to pick it up in store since it's in Southern California) :]
Also just another little blurb about how I will do giveaways at 50, 75 and 100 followers! Remember how I said the prizes will start getting bigger? They are looking pretty nice so feel free to follow me and join in on the giveaways :D

アイコレ: Eye Make Collection
Has anyone ever heard of this site before? http://www.eyecolle.jp/
If you haven't, it's a very good resource to see different girls' daily eye makeup and get some inspiration! Luckily most of the eye makeup is gal styled, but there's also some V-kei and a few others featured.
What I like about this site is that the eye is the main focus and usually the girls will talk about what they wanted to get out of the look and also the products that were used. Most of the site is keyword based, and you can look at the sidebars or on the main page to see what is trending!
Here's a few pages you will all be interested in ranked by most popular:
- Most recent
- Most popular
- Gal-style (a lot of model copycat looks)
- Natural (for an everyday look)
- Circle lenses
- Without circle lenses
* If you can't read Japanese, I recommend using Google Chrome for their built in translator or Yahoo! Japan翻訳 and select the 2nd option to translate Japanese to English.
* You might have to sign up for the website to look at additional pages or pictures.
Also a big thanks to the girls who have entered my giveaway so far! Keep it coming :D

A gal trend I love: Recession proof makeup
Let me be honest. I hate a lot of the gal trends going on right now, especially all of the fur and nordic prints. I don't want to look like a furry, wear real fur OR look like I stole my grandma's sweaters! I don't mind if any of you do like these trends, but that's just my personal opinion.
However, I'm up for anything that is recession proof or as I'd like to call it "fru~gyaru" (lol see what I did there). Egg's December issue featured a spread called "Kawacheap Make", short for Kawaii Cheap Makeup. The spread shows that you can spend very little on makeup and still look fabulous!

Disneyland's California Adventure: ElecTRONica
I'm working on another gal makeup post but I thought I would take a break from all the gal stuff and talk about/show pictures of the new attraction at California Adventure.
This new themed attraction was made in honor of Tron Legacy, the sequel to Tron which both are made by Disney Films. Featured in this attraction is 2 bars, a food truck serving snacks, movie theater screening a preview of Tron Legacy, Flynn's Arcade, an awesome laser show along with a DJ spinning for a dance floor/circle! If you want to go you should do it now, but make sure you go on the weekend because this attraction is only from Friday-Sunday except for Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks.
Awesome panoramic shot of ElecTRONica that Tony took. We got there right when it opened so it was still pretty empty.

Thank you, Sara Mari!
If you haven't checked Sara Mari's newest post on Moments like Diamonds, she posted her updated link page. and I'm on it under Personal for the American region! Make sure to check out the link page as well to see other wonderful blogs :D
Also in other news I went to Mitsuwa today for lunch and swung by Sanseido to see if they had the December issues of the gal magazines. Indeed they did!
I grabbed Popteen, ageha, PopSister and egg this month!
Remember that once I hit 25 followers I will have a giveaway :D and I'll be posting some reviews/information about the new Diamond Lash/Beauty products in the future~

Grill 'Em All vs. Baby's Badass Burgers
If you watch Travel Channel and are a fan of the show Food Wars, then you might have seen these 2 trucks in the LA Food Truck episode.
I've had Grill 'Em All before when they were at the Hurley office in Costa Mesa 2 months ago, and I finally got to try out Baby's Badass Burgers over the weekend at Cartchella in Costa Mesa

PopSister: Dressing Mode with Military, Nordic, Rock and British styles with H&M
The November issue of PopSister included a photoshoot of their models wearing H&M clothes and accessories. I know there's a big debate in the Western gal community of either you wear 109 brands or you don't. Let's bust that myth by showing you JAPANESE GYARU MODELS wearing H&M in a fashionable, gyaru mode-kei way that's affordable.
New layout!
I got tired of using the Blogger template background and settings so I made my own background. Nothing special, but it will suffice for now :D

First pair of circle lenses!
First I'll start off with something not on the title topic, but today is Tony and I's 2 year anniversary together! We can't really have much fun since we're both busy with school work but we have an awesome Saturday and Sunday planned :D
I was kind of against circle lenses before, until I tried out Sakurina's purikura machine at Round 1 about a month ago. On her machine you can change your hair color or add circle lenses on, and this is how it looked:
Needless to say, I was convinced of how good they looked from them on. I went out to go get a prescription for them and found out I have an astigmatism! I am still a newbie to contacts in general, and it's especially harder for me to get circle lenses because of it T_T

Nicole Abe's new line of eyelashes + using NYX cosmetics for a gal look!
Ranzuki's Nicole Abe released a line of eyelashes called "Princess Tiara" last month which include 3 sets of eyelashes plus 1 set of accent lashes. If you're curious about buying them, you can purchase them here (but you need to use a shopping service). But what I liked about this spread was that they included how to do her gal makeup using NYX Cosmetics, an affordable brand that is very comparable to MAC Cosmetics.
Labels:
eyelashes,
gal makeup,
nicole abe,
nyx cosmetics,
ranzuki
Ecco in Costa Mesa, CA + Foo Foo Tei in Hacienda Heights, CA
Another food post, but I promise I've been working on gal-related posts and will be released in the future! Although I will be pretty busy with school soon (tests from Thursday-Tuesday) :/
Get better, Demi Lovato :'(
If you guys don't know, I'm a HUGE Disney Channel music geek! So I really love stuff by the Jonas Brothers, Miley, etc but no one compares to my baby girl, Demi Lovato!
